Winter 2025 - COMMUNITY COHORT Whiteness & Anti-Racism - Sunday Afternoons: IN PERSON - affinity group
This in-person experience is designed for people who are white to deepen awareness on the impact of racism, and to integrate this learning with everyday life. It is important to attend all 4 sessions, held in Oak Park, IL. They are interconnected and build upon one another.
Session 1 - February 23: 1:00pm-4:00pm - WHITENESS & SOCIALIZATION
Session 2 - March 2: 1:00pm-4:00pm - MODALITIES OF PREFERENTIAL ACCESS
Session 3 - March 9: 1:00pm-4:00pm - ACTIONS OF SOLIDARITY
Session 4 - March 16: 1:00pm-4:00pm - ABANDONING SYSTEMS OF OPPRESSION & MOVING FORWARD

Attendance at all 4 sessions during the conference weekend is expected, as each session is designed to build upon one another. Sessions meet 1:00pm-4:0pm on four consecutive Sunday afternoons, in person at Kinfolk CoLab, 405 S. Euclid Avenue, floor 2, in Oak Park IL. Navigation of stairs is required. We do offer virtual options of this cohort as well.
